Ingunn got her first saluki in 1983. Zala was her second saluki. She
was a very special lady and
she and Ingunn have experienced a lot together. She has always been a very loyal companion.
She was Ingunn's soulmate.
When Zala was young, she and
Ingunn competed in obedience classes at level III. She never gained her
obedience championtitle though, because at four years old, she was in an accident and injured herself seriously. The
team never took up the obedience competitions after this, but after two years of
convalescence they were able to continue in the showring.
In the showring Zala has done quite well and was Saluki of the
year 2001 as well as salukibitch of the year 2000 and 2002 in Norway.
The 12th of July 2006, this aristocratic lady left us, 13,5 years old.
Zala was never bred from.
